COMFORTABLE STAY | Good Location | Nice People

The location of the homestay is nice. Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace, etc are nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were super comfortable. I had one of the best sleeps there. The owners were also nice.

The rooms were different from what I had booked. The bathroom was small and communication was a major challenge. I asked the property owner for providing me with two bikes to rent the next day. He affirmed my request. But the next day, I was told there are no bikes available. He gave me a bike rental company's number. I booked the bikes from there. This whole process wasted 3-4 hours of my time which I could have used in exploring the city.

Alright for a short stay

Spacious bedroom and the bed was very big Location was okay about 15/20 min walk to old quarter which we didn’t mind

Could have been cleaner and the bathroom was a bit old. The place was slightly hard to find as it seems to be in a residential area with no signs

The Pros and Cons

Pros in a quite area in a Soi nice owners can't speak English Bus to Airport close by 9000VND local bus lots of food around the streets some beds are soft some hard.

Cons not like what u see on photos maybe 10 years ago the elderly couple are really nice but maybe it's time to employ some people. We slept in 3 rooms first night in twin room they didn't even change the sheets from the previous guest also bathroom wasn't cleaned good in all rooms also bedroom floors were dirty under beds dusty they need to employ a cleaning lady and manager these couple need to step back or people won't come back it has so much potential but is not run well Wifi very poor chairs broken just needs some young thinking to improve quite a few things. Some TV had internet TV some didn't time to buy new TV what tourist need are clean rooms soft beds and clean bathrooms wasn't expensive but some things u can't ignore.

Spacious room area. The mattress is quite comfortable. The host is helpful.

I was dissatisfied with the room's cleanliness. The mattress and floor were filthy, and there was a lot of hair on them. It appears that the room was not cleaned. There are numerous stains on the bed covers. Because the table has not been cleaned, there are still stains from previous food that has stuck to it. There was even a hairball on the restroom floor. I notified the host about the cleanliness of the room, and he also offered to clean it up, but because it was late, we refused. For me, a clean room is one of the top priorities of the accommodation, whether it's a homestay or a hotel. So hopefully homestay can improve this problem.
